Backup2Go users logging in to server via LDAP
Posted by Andre Kuehnemund on 07 February 2017 21:26

Please note: Archiware does not provide technical support for PAM related login issue.

The following solution was provided by acustomer for the benefit of others:

------------

B2G installed on Ubuntu 14.04. The ldap auth provided by libpam-ldap package. At the system i can see all users from ldap, and i can login in any ldap account.
I tried login from a workstation machine to the b2g server using my ldap login+password, it doesn't work.
But b2g can't do that.

B2G was installed on the server with Ubuntu.
Workstation - macbook air with installed p5 workstaion.pkg

I've fixed it by editing this file (on the Ubuntu P5 server):
/etc/pam.d/nsd:
# PresStore installation: Tue Feb 7 10:27:32 UTC 2017
@include common-auth
@include common-account
