Mounting/unmounting Facilis Terrablock volumes via pre/post scripts

Customer:

"I'm trying to get Backup to run a pre and post script to mount and unmount our Facilis Terrablock volume so it can backup our jobs accordingly. The script I wrote is very simple... If I run the script in a terminal window it works as it should. When Backup runs the script the volume never mounts and there by failing my Backup plan as theres no file or folders."

The problem was that P5 runs a 'root', whereas the Facilis 'factbcmd mount' runs in the context of the presently logged in user.

This is how the customer was able to solve the issue:

"I was able to get this to work by creating a simple script that writes variables to a file then waits for a few seconds. I then created a LaunchAgent to run a different script every 5 seconds. That script would check to see if the file exist. if it did it would run the factbcmd and mount or unmount the volume without any issue as its running as the currently logged in user."
