Problems with Virtual Jukeboxes under Windows XP

When using virtual jukeboxes in PresSTORE under Windows, it may arise that the attempt to label a tape fails and states a move error. The move error is due to the vitual tape design, it says that after labelling, there is no tape. This in turn means that the system failed to create the file. This may be due to the fact that there is insufficient space on the dick, the jukebox path is inaccessible.

In case all reasons why the attempt to create a file have been eliminated, the problem may remain; sometimes not for the first but for a subsequently labeled tape. In this case, the problem may be due to a design problem in Windows XP: The workstation operationg system is actually not designed to handle huge files  (> 20GB).
With really big files, the same problem may arise with windows 2003 as well. The reason is the way the NTFS system cache works. The following articles illuminate the problem further:
